Yes, this is the one in my avatar. I got two more rows with sashing done but haven't sewn the two together yet. I believe I will call it Never Ending.
I decided I will do the hearts and need to do as much as I can before sewing larger sections together. The hearts were my first idea and when I start questioning myself it usually doesn't turn out as well. The whole thing looks good to me in EQ7.
The magazine has it done in magenta, yellow, and multi-color bright batiks. It's very pretty though the colors aren't my style. The magazine doesn't have applique where the hearts are or a border but there is a bonus border design online for members. It is large, tropical type flowers and I just looked at the online one a couple of days ago for the first time and there are a couple of scattered flower appliques in the blank areas.
The original border I did in EQ6 was vines, kind of like my final design but, had tentrils coming off it. I decided that was too much applique for me to be happy doing so I did the simple arc and drew in the green lines that I figured could be done while quilting.
I so appreciate the feedback and sharing the process. You all give me an idea if I'm going in the right direction or if something needs to be changed. Like taking a picture of it, I get another perspective that I might not have thought of.
