I made a signature quilt for a friend's 80th birthday. Every year when the cooler weather comes and it goes from display to a real lap quilt she makes a point of telling me how much she enjoys re-reading all the loving comments, and she's told me it's the best gift anyone ever gave her. She strongly hinted she'd like another one (red, white and blue) for her 90th which was earlier this week on July 4th. It's almost finished.
