I'm so glad to see this! I have some of the "fake" leather that I bought as a remnant a while ago. Planned on using it as the bottom of a bag if I EVER decided to make one.
Well today, my cousin went with me to a Quilt shop in her neighborhood & lo & behold, said, " You should make me a bag." She found some pretty Orientals in the mark down area & guess who is making her a bow tucks???
It worked out quite well. If you are quilting your top pieces, do them before you attach them to the vinyl and I didn't put any batting behind the vinyl pieces (these are really the only changes to the assembly instructions that I needed to do, the rest went according to the pattern pretty much)
