I also think it's life's 'negative' experiences that toughen us up.
And you can sure get some here. I was at McDonalds and they gave me my order wrong when I was trying to explain it to the girl at the drive through she kept rolling her eyes at me. Finally about the third time I looked at her and said, "Little girl, I'm old school. You roll your eyes at me one more time and I'm going to do just what my mom would have. I'm going to reach through that window and smack you. It's rude, don't do it again."
