I am five foot ten, myself. This has been designed for that not to be a problem. When this is shipped, it does require putting together - that did not seem to be any problem, nor did it take a long time.

They seem to like it and recommend it as well - I have no experience with it myself - it didn't fit my needs for a larger surface, more reasonable height, and permanently set up table. However, it is advertised frequently in the quilt magazines and is another option to think about. It is a much smaller unit but does serve its purpose for those who have chosen it.
