I have not used the Flynn templates or pattern for the Wedding Ring, but I have used the Red Hawk template.
I took a class with John, and found that he made it very easy with how his templates were made, to sew a very complicated pattern, easily. He was an engineer, so he is into very precise work, and his templates make it easy for the quilter to be precise too!
