There are so many styles of walkers so you really do need to measure.
Basically, I make an oversized placemat, apply two pockets so one faces my Mom and the other one faces outward. I also attach snaps. It really is very easy to make.

I wasn't planning on making another one because she has a few now. Would a tutorial using paper and instructions be helpful? Maybe I could do something like that. Let me know, okay?
