I'll have to try a rope one. We have a carpet one, and only 1 of 4 uses it. I also have a big piece of driftwood from the beach in front of the fireplace, and the same 1 cat uses that, too. He's my good boy! The other 3 think the furniture is the A-1 scratching post, and they are ruining my furniture!! UHHHHHGGGHHHH!!!
