The other one has the off white background with a sweet pink/or berry color design. I like the pink and off white, but it is a bit light next to the sashing. The darker would look better just for light next to dark, but I don't think the color combination is right. This may sound really silly but I tend to use a darker backing if I am putting a heavy batting in the quilt and use a lighter color if I use a light weight batting. I guess I think of darker as heavier!
