I have a bad back (broke when I was 31, paralyzed my leg, put back together with 2 rods and a triple fusion, fine now.) and I wear earth shoes. the real ones, not the Walmart ones. I think they are the reason that I only use my cane a couple of times a year, instead of a couple of times a month. The heels are lower than the toes, which feels weird at first, but it helps your back and legs.
i buy them on eBay- Many people buy than at full price (Ugh!) and then don't wear them, so it's easy to find barely used ones for not a lot of money. These shoes retail for about $130.00 and I usually pay less than 30. Plus, I love mary janes, and they have lots in that style.
