Bertha is togather, only took two days.
She is a new model for the bigger machines.
But Bertha has problems. Made by Arrow. They sent along a piece of paper explaining the problems. Like some holes not pre drilled and the lift sitting crooked. They sent a piece of wood to hammer in to solve the lift problem but it did not work. I ended up putting two rubber door stops under the front of my machine to level it up.
It was a bargin at $550 complete with insert and a platform on the back.
Total cost $616 with tax and handling. Shipping was free.
She has to be completely open to sew as the side platforms only fold up over the top and cannot be folded down at the sides. Which means she is 7 feet long open. Takes up alot of room.
But it sure is nice for quilting. The flatbed makes quilting so much easier.
Before I was using an acrylic table that cost me $80 and the quilt kept catching on the edges, not worth the money.
