I did this one for a guild challenge a few years ago.. I decided that the back should not be solid, so I did the Dutchman's puzzle. Those big pieces were not as easy as I had expected.
This is the first quilt where I designed my own feathers and it was quilted on my Bernina machine that has about a 6" throat.
