I guess they are just standard bobbins that you get at Walmart. He alternates between the old Kenmore which uses the metal ones with all of the little holes and the Brother that uses the plastic ones. He likes the Kenmore best, so that would be the metal ones. He uses white thread on all of his tops. I've tried filling a few and having them there for him but he still won't attempt to put them in. He says he's scared to. He's afraid he'll tear something up. that might be just the inspiration he needs to get him going. that would be funny, to have a bunch of quilters sending you bobbins from all over the country so you'll learn how to put them in.
