I find that most brands no longer make narrows so that really limits me. Most of our suggestions haven't been very practical if you are needing to dress better than very casual. A lot of places have dress codes you have to try to adhere to (like banks or for me, no open-toe or heel of any kind). I would never buy a pair of shoes without trying them on unless they are replacements (exact style, size, and brand) because they all fit differently. If you expect to spend hours on your feet, treat them well or you will find they will pay you back. Even a slight shift in heel angle will make one pair of shoes great and another that looks just like it in another brand terrible.
