I've canned summer bounty for years and still do. Today was 48 quarts of tomato juice, thirty three pints of sweet corn and 12 pints of Salsa. I'm pooped tonight.
It is a lot of work, but I take great pride in seeing all the pretty jars filled with such variety. I know it's all clean, no harmful additives and it just tastes better. Fortunately, canning season doesn't last too long. If it got in the way of my stitching, I might just have to quit!
