I had Quilt Pro before EQ, and agree that it was MUCH easier to learn! In the end I did buy EQ mainly for the drawing tools. While simple blocks are easy enough to draw in Quilt Pro, EQ has so many "extra" tools that i decided it was worth having.

I still have Quilt Pro on my computer along with EQ, partly because all the Carol Doak CD's I have use it and partly because I still like to go back to it for some things!
