I made a faux chenille baby quilt. Ya know the ones with 5 layers of flannel sewed together and then you cut the top 4 layers. Anyways I don't know what I did wrong. Maybe I measured wrong or stretched the fabric as I was sewing. I don't know. I thought I was on a roll and it all looked great. I slashed my fabric and then I squared up my quilt and I was really really off. It's 5 pieces of flannel layered and sewed together. I don't know how I could have messed it up so bad. Anyways when it was all said and done the finished size is 18"x36". Long and skinny lol. So my question is does anyone have any ideas as to how I could maybe add a border or something to it? Maybe to just the 2 long sides or the whole thing. I am not really sure how to attach a border now or how it would even look since its 5 layers and all. I don't have anymore of my background fabric either so I can't try to just piece anything together to maybe get it to blend in. So I would have to either a do some online shopping since I didn't see it yesterday at Jo-Ann's where I bought it about a year ago. Or B I could use one of the solid colors I used on the inside. I am open to any and all suggestions. Thanks!

not a great pic but hopefully you can get an idea
