Since you have used white for the sashing, I think you should use the lighter fabric for the backing with the darker fabric as the binding. That way there would be a pleasing contrast on both sides of the quilt. I'm a little embarrassed that my Chocolate/Raspberry blocks are sitting on my cutting table, along side of the sashing and backing I chose. They call to me often, but I'm in the midst of the Snowman/woman, Santa, Batik and Row Robin Swaps AND making an appliqued Nutcracker quilt for my GD.
