No, I have never sewn - just a little bit and it wasn't pretty - tried to make a pair of shorts when I was 19 somehow the crotch never worked out - made into a skirt sortof and it was upside down? Kind of shied me away from sewing for years. I am really enjoying the quiltmaking and just trying to improve my skills everyday.
