I don't have a family so am not worried about the "family history". Nothing I've made is so wonderful that it's inspired me to sign my name to it, I don't want to be an example of "what not to do" for the quilt-police-of-the-future!

what do you mean ... your 'eyes need to rest' somewhere?....
What color wheel..
fabric has never been 'cheap' enough for me.
Yes to all of these. I once took apart a block FOUR times, and it still didn't turn out right, so I decided life is too short to care. (If you can't see it from a galloping horse and all that... LOL)

I never ever put labels on my quilts
I refuse to hand stitch any bindings
When in doubt I press seams open
I mix batiks with non batiks
I have never "blocked"a quilt or felt the need to
I use poly blend threads or whatever I have handy that matches.
I have no guilt or remorse for any broken rules
Yes I have sinned but am blissfully non - converted. happy to say "its all about ME" !!!!!
Although I've been known to hand stitch the odd binding, I can add these to my infractions too!

After seeing the recent quilt police stories I've been thinking I should take ALL my quilts down to the beach and put them on the ground, just for funsies! I wonder if we have Irish quilt police (probably not, given how little people value them around here anyway).
