April -- don't feel you need to apologize. You said yourself time and again, this is no contest. Sometimes in a quilt made of sampler blocks, simple is better. And who cares about the complexity of a block -- it was made with love and friendship and good will, and that's what it's all about. Those getting what you feel are "simple" blocks are going to look at them and say, "April made this block for ME in spite of her health, taking care of Izzy, her job, the rest of her family ... I am so honored that she took out time for ME."
