Thanks LaurieE, that's a fun site. The Jerry Springer block I remember is part of a whole story of Sue's (sad) life - I think some of the blocks were she gets pregnant, marries a bum, lives in a terrible place, her husband cheats, eventually she goes on JS show and is fighting with her husband's girlfriend. The whole thing is in terrible taste and at the show where I saw it you had to wait to get near it,arguably the most popular quilt in the show.
Love her or not (and I do), Sue has shown remarkable staying power in a world filled with instant "stars" known only for their roles in scandals. Pick up a newspaper and, leaving out legitimate newsmakers, see who you think will still be around next year. Sue made it on her own and will be enjoyed long after we're all gone.
