There was a display of quilts at the AQS show in Knoxville last week that had one particular quilt that is 'haunting' me. The collection was called"The Art of Applique" and all the quilts were prize winners from The Applique Society. The one quilt that blew me away contained 90 different flowers, each with its own approximately 5" square. The squares were sashed and then there was kind of a vine of different flowers on the border. It was all needle turned applique and was hand quilted. I wish I could post a picture, but it is not allowed. It was one of the most fantastic quilts I''ve ever seen. The fabrics in the flowers looked like they might have been hand dyed to get the highlights.

Anyway, if anyone has any idea if this was a pattern that might be available or in a book, I would love to know.
