Hi, im Steffi from Germany. I live with my dear husband Michael in the northwestern part of it, near the Dutch border, in a small town surrounded by green fields and woods.
Iīm quilting for around 15 nears now, and for at least 10 years Iīm collecting 30s reproduction fabrics. These are my favorites, and most of my quilts are made out of them.
I love sewing and quilting by hand in the good old-fashioned way, but I just bought a quilting foot for my sewing machine and want to do a little machine work, too.
At the moment Iīm working at a Grandmotherīs Flower Garden top in lavender shades, and finally the end is in sight. Come visit my blog if you want, there are pictures of it.:D
I also like to work with selvages and made one quilt top so far.
Another interest is my dolls house, and so I made some small quilts in 1/10th scale using paper piecing.
