No, I didn't name it. that's the name of the pattern for the inside part. What do I call it? Turkey's in a pen. You notice how I built a fence around them?
OK, #1 piecemaker. I finally "get it." I kept wondering why the pattern is called Turkey Tracks. Well after looking at it for a while, I finally see the turkeys.
 Those ARE turkeys, right? I'm so slow. OR -- are the white circles the "tracks"? I'm so embarrassed.
It is truly a beautiful quilt.
You can't tell it from here but when you look at one single block the four corners look like turkey feet the way they are shaped. But, after you put the blocks together it loses the feet effect and becomes the circle of feet. I guess you just have to see the pattern and look at the pieces to get the jist of the name. In my opinion it's to pretty a pattern to be a TURKEY!
