Way back when I was a teenager in the early 70's----and still thought that quilts were something that only my Grandmother (and people her age) made, I saw a bandanna quilt in a magazine. It couldn't have been easier; just red and blue bandannas sewed into a quilt top like a checkerboard and then quilted with a sheet on the back. I still remember it, love it, and want to make one some day! (But definitely with more than just red and blue in a checkerboard pattern....maybe Trip Around the World???)
