My sister-in-law just did her first quilt with 5" squares for her handicapped daughter....This was fun and easy for her. She just sewed the squares together and quilted "stitch in the ditch" and it turned out really cute. Now I want her to do a little more. Just don't rush it, if you start out to complicated you won't want to quilt.
