I often find myself in the same trap of indecision when laying quilts like this out. It is stunning but I am also not sure about the "bunching" of the lavenders. I would try photographing a couple of the layouts you have considered and judge by the photos. Sometimes we can see more clearly when looking at photos of the quilt then when looking at the real thing all laid out on our design wall or floor. Whatever you decide to do this quilt is destined to be a jaw-dropper as I think just about any layout you choose will be beautiful.
