I soak in my front loader. I start the wask, let it fill, agitate a few minutes, and stop the cycle. I set a timer...LOL and start the machine again as soon as it goes off. This has always worked for me.

I also love my front loader but when I want to soak something I now have to use the big sink in my laundry room. That's the only thing I miss about my top load washer.
