That is really cute. I bet he loves it. It reminds me of one my friends and I did a couple of years ago. One friend was working on a VW Bus quilt while we were on retreat. She was worrying that she wouldn't get all the applique work done before his graduation, so we each appliqued one or two bus blocks for her in the wildest prints you could imagine. It was so cute and lots of fun to do.
