I bought Cate Tallman-Evans pattern, "Leaf Quartets".... because I thought it would be a great pattern for a cozy, homey quilt. The picture on the package is very monotone (almost greyscale). I love fall colors, and the pattern involves leaves, so I know I will use browns, golds, rusts. But I've also admired some very cozy looking quilt designs that also incorporate blue with the browns.
So I drew up the pattern in EQ5, and experimented a little with colors. I didn't play around with the borders too much. I think the outer border may be a decision that waits until I actually have the project underway.
I have four colorways to post....it might take two tries. Thanks for being patient.
If anyone is interested in the pattern, go to http://www.2cats1cate.com
