Hi, I am a long, long time lover of sewing, sort of "stumbled" upon this group while googling around.
My sewing machine of choice: anything Bernina, but the Pfaff 1475 would be first choice if I couldn't find the Bernina I prefer.
I sew costumes (tutu) for the ballet company my daughter dances with, and art to wear. I love hand dyeing too.
If there were a "Survivor" episode where one would be responsible for making garments totally from scratch....call me! I would be there and could do it.
