Wow - that's a shame. Not only for you, but for the fair-goers who didn't get to see it. Fabulous job - I love those colors together as well as the prairie points.
The organizers should also realize that seeing lovely things like your quilt might be what encourages somebody else to give things a try. If they aren't careful, nobody will be entering!
