That makes no sense whatsoever. There has to be a way for at least enough of each quilt to be shown that the viewers can get a good idea of what it looks like.
You should do something -- I like the suggestion of contacting a local newspaper -- and have some friends do the same so it doesn't look like you're only complaining because you didn't win a ribbon.

Your quilt is lovely. I love prairie points but always turn mine "out". I think I'll do it your way next time.
