An initial suggestion is to press it with a pressing cloth. Put a bit of water spray on the cloth. Then put something heavy on the edge while it is still warm.
I took a class recently and the teacher said she always puts something heavy on her seams after pressing.
Lengthen your stitch when you sew the binding (if you have not already done so) this might be causing it to buckle as well.
