I love these . Somehow I accidently made these without knowing what they. But they were so adorable on childrens quilts. And you can make them any size. It's a bit more work than a lot of people really eant to do, but it's worth it when you have a finished baby quilt. I would normally use the 3 1/2" squares, with 4 to a block, then the next block would be as stand alone with a pretty design in it, or children's desing. I left the pinwheel square with a solid back ground and the pinewheel itself with a very tiny print. You can really enjoy working with them especially when you're finished and you see what you accomplished....... only to find tha right in the middle you find one pin-whell going in the wrong direction.... after a few mumbled words so as not to embarass the two fluffs, I begin the chore of snipping tiny stitches until I can finall reach the one block.. But hey, wuilting is fun, right?
