Thank you for the tips. Yes, I like to keep the logs smaller so the amount of fabrics is higher and the variety of smaller logs do not overwhelm the eye. Thanks for the tips.

I would like to make a cheery quilt as a lap quilt as part of the Linus charity projects. Our guild has been involved with lots of charity work, but this year we are limiting our work to the month of October. Several of us will make something during that time period. However, some others will also do something separately. We found out that too many charity projects throughout the calendar year burned everyone out. This year we are learning several new techniques and are sewing on our own projects.

Piecefully yours,
Kay Susan
