We drove up to the lake to see what areas may be available for dry camping (LOTS open -- very few campers!!!). As I got out of the car, this guy lit on a tree right by me. His screech is enough to make a person pee their pants!! WOW! He's probably 40 feet up in the tree!! I still get a thrill out of seeing our national emblem up so close!
The other pic is of the pelicans out on the lake. Never knew we had pelicans in Oregon until a few years ago! There's probably 100 or more out on the lake!
