Way to go...I love my old 1964 Kenmore that I bought the year I graduated from high school because is has all the dials and whistles I've ever needed, is made of steel and not plastic parts and does not walk off the table when sewing (way too heavy). I wouldn't change it as my basic sewing machine, but do have a serger, Jnome and Simplicity for extras. Can't imagine living with only one machine now days and you can always acquire one for next to nothing at estate sales.
