Thanks Sue and Patrice for your help. My stitches were a loose zig zag, so it was difficult, I did cut some stitches. I spritzed with water, cut where I could with seam ripper, and used tweezers. It took me a couple of hours, but I did it.

I couldn't do what you suggested Patrice because the zig zags were closed on the one side and straight stitches on the other. I will keep that in mind for the next time though.

Using the freezer paper would have worked really good if I had done a satin stitch. Oh well every mistake is a learning situation.
