It takes a typical class 15 bobbin(still make today) In essence, even though it is a japan machine, it is one of the best machines to sew on, they are heavy duty workhorses. Yours is most likely a 70s model of class 15 clone, a lot of the earlier ones are similar to the singer 15, but later they changed the look of it.
