I thought your thread spool pin was missing, but the top doesn't easily show the hole to put it in. Could the spool go on the back side? I figured out how to put the spool holder on, thanks to Nursie76 sending me to an Ebay site with a pic of where it should be! I do have a compartment on top of the machine that I have no idea what it supposed to do. I'll add that pic--maybe someone has something like it on their machine?
