Don't forget that if you use a "designer" quilt pattern the designer has their hand stuck out for a cut of the proceeds and plan accordingly. (never mind that you already PAID for the cost of the pattern). Some of them even want you to ask permission before you even sell the quilt.

Best bet is to use traditional blocks in traditional settings or make up your own, then you can sell with impunity.
