any of the 'dream' batts are wonderful to stitch on, the dream cotton; dream poly; dream wool; and the silk/bamboo. also the hobbs selects blends are good for hand stitching (80% cotton/20% poly) maybe try different ones on small projects until you find the one you love the most. some of us who has batting scraps could prehaps send you some samples of different ones if you would like...send me a pm with address info if you would like a (swatch) sample of some different batts; i have a few different poly's, cottons and wool i would be willing to share.
