I actually learned to quilt while I was living in Rota, Spain twenty years ago. My husband was stationed there with the Navy. We lived out in town and I didn't know a soul and spoke very little Spanish. So, I signed up for quilting class on the base. The instructor was a Spanish woman who lived across the street from me! We became great friends & sewed almost every day. She taught me a lot. Spain definitely has some talented, gifted women![/quote]

Thank you for the kind words, I donīt know Rota, where exactly is that.?
