If you are financially able to stay were you are, I would. I am retired and the the time at home/not working is priceless. Of course, you are young and it may be necessary for you to make more money than you are. I thank God for the people that work in a nursing home and those that truly make a difference. I couldn't do it. I have a caring heart and I would be sad all the time. BUT, I would want someone there to keep an eye on the employees that are mean, dishonest and plain hateful.
