When we began our search for our "growing older" house, one of my main wishes was for a studio. This was one of our deciding features in this house. Former owner was a watercolor artist, and he built this space on the back of the garage. It's about 20'x30', with french doors to the yard, skylights, and even my own bath. After years of sewing in the basement (unfinished), I feel like I have died and gone to heaven.
I am finally sharing pics. This is about typical for neatness, always several projects going on at once. The cupboard next to the rocker holds my collection of antique quilts, some made by my g'grandmother. Stop in and sit a spell!

Main machine area-reflection on window is a birdfeeder. DH put up the pegboard for me.

The stacks! Bins up top are polar fleece. I make and donate hats for homeless and school kids

Antique quilts collection and hand work area. Colorful fabrics on L are vintage aprons. Need to organize them

TV and reference books. Rocker is right in front for watchin' movies while doing handwork.
