I sympathize completely. Just got my car worked on yesterday.

For almost two months we have had no gas gauge reading except EMPTY and two other lights kept coming on. Then I would turn the key to start and it would click but no turn over. Anyway, after getting a check I was waiting for, took teh car in and had diagnostics done, new gas tank sensor (everyone kept telling us they needed to put in a new tank, NOT. DH did a check on-line and found they are having numerous problems with same thing in Chevy Trailblazers) put in, and adjust something or another and add some special liquid to help clean everything (not the kind you can buy at auto parts store), and $350. 00 later, she runs great. Every place else quoted over $500 fix.

Most dealers charge way too much. In Denver we had a great mechanic who owned his own shop and did all our vehicles. Guranteed his work for one year. Here, we are limited but our dealer is really great.
