It is a hard decision to make. I love the people I work for. As far as the nursing home goes...it always smells the same. I'm just wondering if I would get used to it. I visit my mom about 3 times per week at the other location and it smells the same. It's probably their cleaning agent and the food.
God Bless people like you who can even consider working at a nursing home. It takes someone really special to work with older patients, I couldn't do but really appreciate anyone who can. My mother was diagnoised with Alz when she was only 60 years old. It is one of the saddest and most horriffic diseases that is know to mankind. I will keep you and your tough decision in my prayers.
