When I spin the wheel it moves freely so I think it would work, however I do not know what to look for as far as the bobbin is concerned etc. I looked around the net and here is a picture of it, however, the one I saw says Freeman No 5 on the top, not just Free.

So, should I race back up there a get this machine? If so are there things I should check before buying? DH says I can get it if I will use it, so it has to work :). It looked to be in good condition, cabinet too, just needs a little cleaning.

Thanks
Go get it that is a really neat cabinet it is in and you do not see many of them at all. If it needs a belt you can find those on eBay and I am fixing to start carrying the parts/belts for them also!
